Between September 3, and September 9, there have been three break and enter offences reported to North Brisbane police involving places of worship where money was stolen.
Between 7-8pm on September 3, a place of worship on Rode Road, Wavell Heights was broken into.
Between 3pm-8pm on September 4, a place of worship on Bonney Avenue, Clayfield was broken into.
Further, between 9am and 4pm on September 9, a place of worship on Appleby Road, Enoggera was broken into.
Police investigations are continuing and entry was gained at all three locations by forcing through doors.
Crime Prevention staff from the Gateway Patrol Group have taken steps to reach out to places of worship and offer crime prevention advice, including the following tips:
