Police have charged a man following an armed car theft on September 7 in Stafford.
It is alleged around 2.30am, two males aged 17 and 19, waved down the driver of a Kia Rio on Stafford Road.
The driver of the vehicle stopped, and it is alleged that one of the males threatened the driver with a knife and told him to get out. Both males then allegedly entered the vehicle and drove away.
At about 2.50am, police were called to a single vehicle accident and located the Kia Rio overturned at the roundabout on Hamilton Road and Webster Road at West Chermside.
It will be alleged two males were seen running from the crashed vehicle.
A police dog was used to located the two males.
Both males required medical treatment for their injuries as a result of the traffic crash.
An 17-year-old Arana Hills boy was arrested and charged with armed robbery and unlawful use of
