On Wednesday, September 25, police from the Gateway Crime Prevention Office with Police Liasion Officers Moria and Alma, joined with many, many families at the Hidden World Playground at Fitzgibbon for the Jabiru organised ‘Park Play.’
This free event happens once every school holidays and is always a super popular event.
Community groups Jabiru, Kurbingui, Vinnies, PCYC, Early Years Count, Save The children, BCC, and Mercy Community join forces to supply a fun and action filled morning for the families of North Brisbane.
QPS added to the noise and colour of the day with the children being allowed to dress up as police officers and have a ‘pretend’ ride in the marked police vehicle.
The red and blue flashing lights were on, and the siren button did get hit a few times too!
