With over 20 Nissan Patrol vehicles reported stolen from North Brisbane this year, QPS are very happy with the results of a search warrant that was executed by Cleveland CIB on September 21 at an address in Redland Bay.
The address was an acreage property and consisted of several large unused poultry sheds.
Police located over 80 vehicles at the address.
Initial investigations have revealed that 21 of these vehicles were identified as being of interest either being stolen or re-birthed with most of these vehicles being Nissan Patrols.
A number of Nissan Patrol engines were located in an unused poultry shed with eight allegedly being identified as stolen.
The sheds contain a large number of vehicle parts consisting of bonnets, wheels, tyres, bull bars, car doors and seats, tool boxes, ute trailers and canopies.
A large number of power tools and trade equipment were also located that appear to be from the stolen vehicles.
