Stolen vehicle charges, North Brisbane

Police have charged five teenagers after a stolen car was allegedly driven dangerously and involved in two crashes in Brisbane’s north yesterday.
The Black Mazda CX-9 was stolen from a Mountain Creek address on Tuesday, May 19 and was seen at numerous locations yesterday on the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane.
It will be alleged the car travelled at high speed and crossed to the wrong side of Sandgate road at Clayfield and Roghan Road at Taigum.
At 2.10pm a man was stationary in his Colorado Ute on Zillmere Road at the traffic lights with Sandgate Road. A Mazda CX-9 has crashed into the ute. The Mazda has then reversed and driven off along Sandgate Road.
At 2.15pm on Ryan’s road at Northgate, the Mazda CX-9 has crashed into a parked car and motorcycle causing extensive damage. The Mazda lost control mounting a curb and almost flipping onto its side before driving off.
