With easing COVID-19 restrictions, all school students will be back behind a school desk from Monday, May 25.
On top of remembering to stay 1.5 metres apart and washing hands thoroughly, it is also important to remember the road rules around schools. Be sure to obey road rules and street signs or you may receive a fine for your trouble.
May 25 will see increased pedestrian and traffic flows in and around schools, with police patrolling these areas to ensure everyone stays safe.
As the sense of ‘normal life’ is becoming more foreseeable to many, now is the time to take a breather and prepare for the kids returning to a school routine between Monday and Friday.
Daily starting times may differ from school to school, however police will be out and about to ensure all parents and students receive support in getting back into this routine.
