Successful search warrant in Taigum

Detectives from North Brisbane executed a search warrant at a residence in Taigum this week, after receiving information relating to an unusual air vent system, which was observed at the residence.
During the search warrant, police located an elaborate hydroponic set up in one of the main bedrooms, a second bedroom with established cannabis plants, numerous bags of prepared drugs ready for sale and further cannabis plants in the yard of the premises.
A 47-year-old Taigum man has been charged with numerous drug related offences including produce a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug, supply of a dangerous drug and several other charges. He will appear at the Sandgate Magistrates Court on January 1, 2020, to have the charges heard.
