Unlawful use of motor vehicle arrest, Brisbane

A man and 17-year-old boy have been charged following the alleged dangerous operation of a vehicle on the weekend.
An armed robbery incident occurred in the city division over the weekend that ended with a stolen Silver Holden commodore being stopped by police.
Police working the night shift on Saturday night on the northside of the Brisbane were quick thinking and had tracked the vehicle of interest from the City to an address in Chermside in the Boondall division.
The two occupants were subsequently removed from the stolen vehicle and charged with armed robbery and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
An 18 year old man from Acacia Ridge and an 17 year old boy from Bracken Ridge have been charged with stealing, evade police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Good officer collaboration between City and Gateway patrolling police divisions was formally acknowledged.
