Weapon and drug-related charges laid in North Brisbane

Police from North Brisbane are heavily invested in reducing vehicle, property and drug related crime across the district.
On Saturday night (August 8), plain clothes officers from the Tactical Crime Squad attempted to intercept a black Mercedes sedan on Bracken Ridge Road, Bracken Ridge.
The driver of the car allegedly evaded police and drove away in a dangerous manner.
Polair was able to track the vehicle as it continued through Bracken Ridge until it stopped at a business premises in Hilda Street, Hamilton.
The occupants of the vehicle; a man and a woman, then exited the car, allegedly throwing unknown items into a nearby bush before running into College Street.
Police from North Brisbane were quickly in attendance at the scene, and with the assistance of the dog squad, were able to locate the man and woman who were allegedly observed exiting the vehicle by Polair.
It will be alleged that a search of the vehicle
