The Zillmere Community Centre is a place where strong connections are made, and provides a great community location for numerous different groups and activities to come together.
The mission of the Zillmere Community Centre is to work towards providing quality community support programs in line with changing needs and the provision of services and activities targeted to alleviate poverty, homelessness, distress, disability, isolation and unemployment.
Police Liaison Officers, and Crime Prevention Officers from Gateway Patrol Group often drop into the Centre to connect with the different groups, and are always striving to build strong connections within the community that they serve.
On Tuesday, September 24, PLO Moria and Sergeant Jodie Murray dropped into the ‘Knitting 4 Brisbane’s Needy’ group.
