On Friday, March 13, Taigum State School held their annual “Ride Safely to school” event.
Students, teachers, parent, younger siblings, and police gathered at Hidden World, and then “active travelled” to school.

It was great to see that everyone was wearing their helmets, stopping and getting off their bike/scooter to cross roads safely, and using the bike paths when they were available.

Upon arrival at the school, everyone enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast, prepared by the P&C committee, and the lovely ladies from the Department of Main Roads and Transport greeted the students and handed out road safety information to the students.
