North Brisbane Police are celebrating Queensland Women’s Week by profiling some of the strong, diverse women in policing from across the district.
Our next female in focus is Senior Constable Toni Dance who works as a General Duties officer at Boondall Police Station.
Can you tell us about what your current job role is in the QPS, and a summary of your career?
Hi my name is Toni Dance and I am currently performing general duties at the Boondall police station. I have been a member of the Queensland Police Service since 2013.
Prior to working at the Boondall Police Station, I was a general duties officer at Booval Police Station which is located in Ipswich.
Before joining the Queensland police I was studying in America for five years on a softball scholarship and obtained a bachelor of science.
