Significant quantity of stolen property located and charges laid, Northgate

A man and woman have been arrested by police following investigations into several stealing and break and enter reports in the Nundah and Northgate areas over the past weeks.
Detectives from the South Gateway Property Team conducting inquiries into the incidents on Sunday attended an address in Northgate where police allege the man fled the address on foot. Officers from Hendra Station attended and after a short foot pursuit took the man into custody nearby without further incident.
Detectives subsequently executed a search warrant at the Northgate address, locating a significant quantity of allegedly stolen property.
Property recovered by police included seven push bikes, three motorbikes, a wallet, bank cards, a Nintendo gaming console, a laptop and an electric scooter.

The 33-year-old Northgate man has since been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence, five counts of fraud, two counts of attempted fraud, burglary, unlawful possession of suspected stolen
