North Brisbane police are celebrating Queensland Women’s Week by profiling some of our strong, diverse women in policing from across the district.
Our next female in focus for the week is Senior Constable Louise Louge from the Gateway Patrol Group, Scenes of Crime (SOC) , based at Hendra Police Station.
Senior Constable Louge works for Scenes of Crime at Hendra
Can you tell us about what your current job role is in the QPS, and a summary of your career?
I was recruited into Scenes of Crime almost three years ago, and I have the best job in the service. My typical day consists of talking to victims of crime and assisting in the identification of offender/s.
Our team provides victims with a brief security audit for their home, as well as insight into the typical behaviour of offender/s and an outline of ‘what will happen now’ with their property, the investigation and their involvement.
